As a political action committee, Humane USA works to inform
the public about animal issues as well as how their legislators
are voting on issues relating to animal rights and animal
cruelty.
The reorganization of the navigation into both Federal and
State legislation, allows their audience to find more local
information. A database driven search of congressional representatives
and legislation is planned for the site.
The inclusion of navigation by issue also allows an audience
interested in specific issues to find them more readily.
Additional features of the site still under development include:
Online giving, database driven content management, ties to
local Humane USA PAC chapters.
