Families As We Are, a book by Perdita Huston was our
first venture into the realm of Literary promotions. The book
however is more than just a work of literary art, but also
a labor of love for the author. Having met with Perdita, I
came to understand that this site was to be just as much about
the book as it was about the families in the book.
While there are general navigational topics which describe
various aspects of the book, there are also photos of the
families scattered throughout, and we are currently working
on the inclusion of many more.
This site required both graphics optimization as well as
a unique layout and color scheme to compliment the colors
of the book itself. There is also a fair degree of dynamically
generated content in the form of quotes about the book and
the author, as well as the family photo albums.
